MEET OUR MEMBERS: Charlotte Friborg Helps Working Moms Find Fulfillment
Members of the Socially Responsible Coaches Alliance have all sorts of specialties but are all committed to economic, environmental, & social justice. This member focuses on economic justice for women
Charlotte knows what it’s like to feel lost in her life. Busy all the time. Fighting with a spouse. Dreaming of a career where she wakes up excited every day. Living in a nice house with nice furniture. Longing for deep connection with another (adult) human. Charlotte knew her skills were not being used to the fullest, but she was afraid that saying yes to her career dreams would be saying no to her family. For a long while, she was stuck in a mom trap. The very trap she helps free other moms from today.
Like Charlotte did once, her clients have ideas about the environment and the world they want to see for their children, that they wish they were braver about sharing. Charlotte’s clients are moms who are surrounded by friends and family, but still feel alone and scared about the future for their kids.
Born in Denmark, Charlotte moved to the United States in 2006, with her family. Today, Charlotte Friborg is a Master Certified Coach who speaks her mind more than she ever thought she would! As a Mentor Coach, Speaker, and Bestselling Author of two books published by The Author Incubator: Make Your Own Money Again and Fulfilled Working Mom this Blackbelt shares her truth with love and precision in creating economic justice for women. She helps moms to restart or redirect their careers and to build fulfillment and confidence in their life. She is also a mentor for coaches-in-training in the Miracle-Minded Mastery Coaching Certification Program under Marianne Williamson.
“Research shows that women's spending habits are more eco-friendly. As well as women tend to give more to causes and give more. When more women make more money and in ways where they feel fulfilled they will help their children to see new ways of living life we are not taught in schools so much yet,” explains Charlotte describing her motivation. “I help women see their skills and talents and own it so they can take action with more confidence for what their heart tells them to do. We can not wait for the system to change. We must change so that the system changes.”
Women earn 77 cents to every dollar men earn. “I believe when women set themselves free, the world becomes a better place. Children need to see their moms as role models for creating incredible lives. If more women become empowered to speak their truth and do the work they are best at more conscious decisions will be taken and that is very important in today’s world with so much pain.”
Charlotte loves being a part of the Socially Responsible Coaching Alliance because it’s a place of shared wins. “When one of us wins, we all win!” She is grateful that she has learned:
to be a confident and responsible business owner in a crowded landscape;
how to find clients in a way that feels good to me;
that I am an expert and own it;
to feel comfortable being uncomfortable;
to do new things with less hesitation;
how beautiful and supportive a community can be with people who have high goals; and
to create a program that makes a difference and feel confident charging for it.
Charlotte brings the Scandinavian perspective to the Socially Responsible Coaching Alliance which has helped us see different possibilities for business models that center on community well-being. Charlotte laughs when Americans call Denmark’s system ‘socialism’ with a negative tone. To her, whatever it’s is called, it is a socially responsible system that makes Denmark the country with the happiest people for years in a row.
We think there are great things in all systems and we love that being in the US has helped inspire Charlotte to have ABUNDANCE as her word of the year. She has a vision to buy homes in Denmark and America this year. We can’t wait to see it happen. This is the power of breaking free from the expectations of motherhood and caregiving and learning to make your own money in a powerful way.

Thank you Charlotte for your example of courage. This statement has me in awe, “We can not wait for the system to change. We must change so that the system changes.” This is what we CAN do—change ourselves. Even though it isn’t easy, it’s an important and foundational shift. Thanks again for sharing!
